SCHOLARSHIP
The Kentucky State University Atlanta Alumni sponsors students from the southeast area who are in need of assistance at Kentucky State at the fall Founder's Day Convocation.
FAMILY SPONSORSHIP CHRISTMAS
The Atlanta Alumni of Kentucky State University has sponsored multiple families annually. Thru research via local connections, a list of families are vetted and selected. We have been able to raise thousands of dollars in sponsorship for these families during the holidays.
HBCU ALLIANCE
The mission of the Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance is to serve as an advocate for HBCU Alumni Associations by supporting the mission of HBCUs through scholarship fundraising, alumni reclamation and student recruitment in addition to aligning with the National HBCU Alumni Alliances by supporting and participating in programs that promote higher education, encourage healthy living, and fighting hunger.
DERBY DAY IN THE A
The Atlanta Alumni of KYSU throws a Derby Party every year for our local alumni who can't get back to KY for the festivities. We lovea great party and enjoy bringing our local friends and family into these events to share in the race and the overall experience. This event is the first Saturday in May annually.
